જરા નજર નાખો ઉપરના ચિત્રો પર કે જે એમએફ હુસૈને દોર્યા છે. ભારતમાતાનું નગ્ન ચિત્ર, નગ્ન હનુમાનજીના પૂંછડે વીંટળાયેલી નગ્ન સીતા માતા, એક હાથ વગરના હનુમાનજી, માથા વગરના હનુમાનજી, નગ્ન વિશ્નૂ ભગવાન, હનુમાનજીની છાતીમાં અર્ધનગ્ન સીતા માતા અને રામ, ભગવાન રામ અને સીતાની મૈથુન ક્રિયા જોતા હનુમાનજી, હનુમાનજીના ખભે બેઠેલા નગ્ન સીતા માતા અને રામ ભગવાન, એક ચિત્રમાં વિચિત્ર રીતે દર્શાવેલા રામ, સીતા અને હનુમાન, ત્રણેય નગ્ન અને ઉંધા ચત્તા, રાક્ષસ જેવા બતાવેલા હનુમાનજીના બે મોઢા, માથા વગરના શંકર ભગવાન, હુસેનના ચિત્ર પ્રદર્શન તરફ આંગળી ચીંધતા ગણેશજી કે જેમના પેટ પર વેલ્કમ લખ્યું છે.
હુસેને પાર્વતી માતાને અને સરસ્વતી માતાને નગ્ન ચીતર્યા છે. લક્ષ્મી માતાનું નગ્ન ચિત્ર તો જુઓ ? તેમની ફાંદને અડીને ગણેશજીનુ માથુ છે અને ગણેશજી તેમના પગ નીચે છે. દુર્ગા માતા વાઘ સાથે સંભોગમાં ચીતર્યા છે હુસેને. અને સીતા માતાને નગ્ન રાવણની જાંઘ પર બેઠેલા ચીતર્યા છે હુસેને.
અને જરા એમએફ હુસેનના ડબલ સ્ટાન્ડર્ડ પણ જુવો. ખુદાનું ચિત્ર તેઓ નથી જ બનાવતા. ઈસુનુ પણ નગ્ન નહી. એક સૂફીનુ ચિત્ર બનાવ્યુ છે તો તેમાં સૂફી સંપૂર્ણ કપડા પહેરેલો છે, એ જ રીતે મધર ટેરેસા પણ સંપૂર્ણ વસ્ત્ર સજ્જ દર્શાવ્યા છે. એક ચિત્રમાં હિંદુ અને મુસ્લિમ બે બતાવ્યા છે તો હિંદુ નગ્ન અને મુસ્લિમ કપડામાં બતાવ્યો છે. હુસેને પયગંબરના પુત્રી ફાતિમાનું ચિત્ર પૂર્ણ વસ્ત્રોમાં દોર્યુ છે. પોતાની માતા અને પુત્રીનું ચિત્ર પૂર્ણ વસ્ત્રોમાં દોર્યુ છે. આ ચિત્રોમાં હુસેનને નગ્ન દોરવાનો વિચાર નથી આવ્યો. કપડા ઉતારવાની વિકૃતિ સૂઝી નથી.
અને અહીં બધુ પતતુ નથી. દ્રૌપદી, ગંગા, યમુના અને બીજા કંઈક હિંદુ દેવો,દેવીઓ,પાત્રોના નગ્ન ચિત્રો હુસેને બનાવ્યા છે.
એનડીટીવી તેની અમદાવાદ ઓફિસ પર થયેલા હુમલા બાબતે બૂમો પાડવાના બદલે ઈન્ટ્રોસ્પેક્ટ કરે કે તેણે ભારતની પાંચ વ્યક્તિઓને ભારત રત્ન માટે ચૂંટીને તેનો એસએમએસ પોલ રાખ્યો તેમાં એમએફ હુસેનની પસંદગી શું વિચારીને કરી? જેના પર કોર્ટ કેસ થયેલા છે ને હાજર થતો નથી ને વિદેશમાં ભટકે છે એ હુસેન, જેણે ભારતીય દેવી દેવતાઓને નગ્ન ચીતર્યા છે અને એ વિશે દિલગીરી સુદ્ધા પ્રગટ કરતો નથી ને એ ચિત્રો આજે પણ એકથી બીજા હાથમાં વેચાઈ રહ્યા છે એ હુસેનને ભારત રત્ન માટે પસંદગીના પાંચ ભારતીયોમાંનો એક બતાવનાર મિડિયાએ અક્કલ ગીરવે મૂકી છે કે શું?

NDTV ni latest vikruti - On their website, they have an open poll asking everyone if “national anthem still spurs you to venerate motherland”? EXCUSE ME? IS THIS EVEN A QUESTION to be asked in a poll??? Should this BE EVEN A question? What is their MOTIVE behind asking SUCH anti national question? WHY WHY WHY WHY NDTV WHYYYYYY? What makes you think that now our National Anthem is “Out of Date”? Who is their master mind coming up with this rougue ideas? A quarter-page column in the Gujarat Samachar’s Sunday edition has led to a controversy days before the state polls.
The newspaper selling 14 lakh copies asked its Muslim readers not to sacrifice animals this Id, the festival falls on the 21st of this month, just two days before counting day.
The newspaper cited that the Koran to say that animal sacrifice isn’t necessary, it offends the Hindus.
Muslim organisations are certainly offended, they complained to the Election Commission and the police, forcing them to take action
”This can cause communal tension to flare up. We’ve written to the newspaper to address the problem,” said R M S Brar, Surat Police Commissioner.
But Gujarat Samachar says, it was an Id feature exhorting the benefits of vegetarianism.
”Our columnist wanted to write about Id so we did this to encourage vegetarianism, we did not want to hurt anybody,” said Shreyans Shah, Editor, Gujarat Samachar
The newspaper publishers were not willing to apologise, but said that they can carry a rejoinder.
Activists said that the local press played a key role in Gujarat’s communal divide.
”I wish I could say I was surprised, local press is known for unsourced articles, unnamed sources, during riots, Sandesh headline was ‘blood for blood’.
The group, which complained against the article, Al Raza, has refused to give a press statement saying they want to maintain peace between the two communities.

The Editors Guild, the Press Council of India and the PUCL have all criticised the Gujarati local media for their coverage during the 2002 riots, calling many reports baseless and inflammatory.
When we asked the Gujarat Samachar Editor about allegations of their bias, they said that they simply mirrored the society.
