ગુજરાત લોકકલા ફાઉન્ડેશન દ્વારા તાજેતરમાં(જાન્યુઆરી ૨૦૦૮)ગુજરાતી હાસ્યકલાકાર શ્રી જગદીશ ત્રિવેદીને ગૌરવ પુરસ્કાર સન્માન આપવામાં આવ્યુ. અમદાવાદના ટાગોર હોલમાં યોજાયેલા સમારંભમાં આ એવોર્ડ એનાયત કરવામાં આવ્યો. શ્રી જગદીશ ત્રિવેદી સૌરાષ્ટ્રના ઝાલાવાડ પંથકના વતની છે. તેઓએ એક વિષયમાં પીએચડી પૂરુ કરી ડોક્ટરેટની ઉપાધિ મેળવી જ છે હવે તેઓ જાણીતા હાસ્યકલાકાર શ્રી શાહબુદ્દીન રાઠોડની હાસ્યશૈલી પર બીજા શોધ નિબંધ પર કામ કરી રહ્યા છે જે પૂરુ થતા શ્રી ત્રિવેદી ડબલ પીએચડી બનશે. ભાઈશ્રી જગદીશ ત્રિવેદીને એવોર્ડ એનાયત કરવામાં આવ્યો ત્યારે તેમણે તેમના પત્ની અને પુત્રને સ્ટેજ પર બોલાવી લીધા. ઉપરાંત હોલમાં હાજર અમદાવાદના દિગ્ગજ હાસ્યકલાકાર શ્રી મહેશ શાસ્ત્રીને પણ સ્ટેજ પર બોલાવી લીધા. ગૌરવ પુરસ્કાર એનાયત થયા બાદ શ્રી ત્રિવેદીએ સ્ટેજ પર ઝુકીને તખતાને અને સૌને નમન કર્યા.
એવોર્ડ મળતા પહેલા અને પછી જગદીશ ત્રિવેદીએ વીસ વીસ મિનીટના હાસ્યની છોળોના બે દૌર ચલાવ્યા જેમાં હાસ્યની સાથે સાથે ગમી જાય એવા વિચારો અને ચિંતન પણ મિશ્ર થયેલુ હતુ. ત્રણ વિડિયો પૈકી પ્રથમ વિડિયોમાં ભાઈ શ્રી જગદીશ ત્રિવેદીને એવોર્ડ અર્પણ થયો એ પળો આપ જોઈ શકશો જ્યારે બીજા અને ત્રીજા વિડિયોમાં જગદીશ ત્રિવેદીએ આ પ્રસંગે મચાવેલી હાસ્યધમાલ પ્રસ્તુત છે.
