This Gujarati song is from Gujarati film ‘Desh Re Joya Dada Pardesh Joya’. Filmed on heroine Roma Manek, this film is very famous in rural Gujarat.
In 60s and 70s Gujarat got it’s most of the famous songs via Gujarati film industry. In 1990s this trend started diminishing as Gujarati film music production lost it’s quality.
After long break this song from Desh Re Joya Dada Pardesh Joya became hit. Even the film was super hit. Ahmedabad’s Rupam theatre was going all pack with public pouring in from Bapunagar and Amraiwadi to watch this film.
