Mara Manada na Meet:Rural Gujarat’s New Hit Song(Video)

In 2006 it was “Sanedo” that became hot and popular among Gujaratis across the world. In 2007 “Hamu kaka bapana poriya(Kondaliyu)” was hit, if not super hit like “Sanedo”. In 2008, so far this song(Video above) “Mara Manadana Mit” has become popular in rural class(not in urban class). We can find this song’s ring tone in mobile phones of people from rural background.
Why this song can not be popular in urban class is a question that can be answered this way: This song has slow beat, starting orchestration is not attractive and in a middle part this song sounds bit stereotyped.

૨૦૦૬માં સનેડાએ ધૂમ મચાવી. ૨૦૦૭માં હમુ કાકા બાપાના પોરિયા(કોંડલિયુ)એ સનેડા જેટલી તો નહીં પણ તેનાથી ઓછી છતાય સારી એવી સફળતા મેળવી. હવે ૨૦૦૮ના વર્ષમાં જો કોઈ ગુજરાતી ગીત ઉપડ્યું હોય તો તે ઉપરનું ગીત છે. “મારા મનડાના મીત” ગીત ખાસ કરીને ગ્રામીણ વિસ્તારોમાં અને શહેરમાં વસતા ગ્રામીણ બેક્ગ્રાઉન્ડના લોકોમાં સારુ એવુ પ્રસિદ્ધ થયું છે. તેમના મોબાઈલ ફોનના રીંગ ટોનમાં પણ આ ગીત સાંભળી શકાય છે. સ્લો બીટ અને ગીતના વચ્ચેના ભાગમાં સ્ટીરીયોટાઈપ્ડ મ્યુઝીકને કારણે ગીત એટલુ બધુ ઉપડ્યુ નથી છતા ૨૦૦૮નું અત્યાર સુધીનું આ હીટ ગુજરાતી ગીત છે એ વાતમાં કોઈ શંકા નથી.
બીજુ ખાસ લખવાનું કે નવરાત્રિમાં શરૂઆતના ગરબા ધીમા હોય છે અને પછી ફાસ્ટ થાય છે. આ ગીત ધીમા ગરબા તરીકે ચાલે તેમ છે અને તેથી આવતી નવરાત્રિમાં તેનો ગાયકો વ્યાપક ઉપયોગ કરશે.
