Ahmedabad to get World-Class Communication Research Campus: MICORE
MICORE venture:MICA will pump in around 100 crore in next some years

Ahmedabad based Mudra Institute of Communication(MICA) will set-up a world-class communication research institute campus of ‘MICORE’ near the existing campus of MICA on Ahmedabad-Sanand highway. MICA in coming years will pump in around 100 crore Rs. at MICORE venture.
MICA has 20 acre idle land adjoining to it’s existing campus. New research institute MICORE will come up on this land. Ahmedabad based Center for environment planning and technology(CEPT) has designed MICORE campus.
In existing MICA campus there are more than 300 students. MICA has much to do with applied research. While a new research institute ‘MICORE’ will have fellow or PhD programs and will emphasize on fundamental research.
Currently some 6 researchers are active at temporary facility of MICORE in Ahmedabad. In next five years there will be at least 80 to 100 researchers in MICORE. Researchers at MICORE are currently working on 4 research papers. Ongoing research is about presence of celebrities in print and television ad campaigns. For this research paper, researchers have so far checked and studied 700 print ads and 800 television ads that were made in last 11 years range.
It is interesting to note that Singapore based noted communication expert Mr. ANG Peng Hwa has joined MICORE as a visiting dean. Mr. ANG Peng Hwa has shifted his base from Singapore to Ahmedabad. He now lives in Ahmedabad’s C.G. Road flat. For one year he will stay in Ahmedabad and will set up the over all structure and road path of MICORE as a world class communication research institute.
MICORE is active in five major research areas: Integrated Marketing Communications, Entertainment, Semiotics, Social and Developmental Communications and journalism. (In Photo: Dr. ANG Peng HWA)

I would not trust these people. its a mistake to give china or chinese people any contracts. When Modi will not be there, Maoist woullld take over gujarat and
communists would rule gujarat.
this is a mistake, and gujarat will realize it in 20 years of time.

well…i really dont agree with what NIMESH DIKSHIT says. I am currently located at united states and i know that this is the era of globalization and blooming economic development. For our state to develop, we need many foreign capital and knowledge investments. And even if they invest their capital and resources in our state, it is our state who is really very much benifitted. And to talk about the modi thing, then it is only this modi who has given such a huge inspiration to a global trade market and foreign investments. There is no such maoist thing in business and science. its nothing like maoists will take over gujarat or anything like that.
Hey all gujaratis, dont be so ignorant and narrow minded. Think globally rather than thinking locally.
