Here is an exclusive video of how Asaram Bapu’s sadhaks fought back and responded to Sabarmati and Motera area’s youths who earlier had pelted stones on Asaram ashram and it’s vehicles, broken and torched cars and buses of followers who were going to Asaram ashram for Guru Poornima.
Asaram’s sadhaks jumped in to the ashram’s vehicles and ran towards residential areas on Motera road with sticks in their hands and violence in their minds. However police reached at the spot in minutes and prevented Asaram Bapu’s sadhaks from going ahead on their plans of rampage. Police soon limited Asaram’s followers presence to Asaram ashram road and prevented them to go beyond that road. Asaram sadhaks also followed and obeyed this as they too wanted to do something only symbolic and quick to show their presence of strength to the opponents.
Capturing this video was high risk. Cameras could be broken, physical injuries could happen. Thanks God nothing like that happened. Only kidnapping happened( I was freed), bag with camera was taken for some minutes and mobile phone was broken so that I could not contact police. From amazing amounts of troubles this video has passed from the spot to your eyes only because of our courageous commitment for journalism.

After looking at your video it seems that police was not favoring any side. They were merely trying to maintain the situation of law and order, and to maintain that they beat people from both the side so reports from other media that police was favoring asaram side is misleading. Also, what Asaram supporters did was merely a reaction of early incidents of the day. If we try to justify riots of 2002 based of “reaction of godhara action” then this is no different than that.
In any case, whoever “wins” this battle but gujarat and india is going to loose. We are becoming intolerant and that would be a bad sign if we want to keep the progressive attitude.
Anyways, I hope the home department transfer this case to at least Crime Branch, if possible to CBI. This will bring back lost trust of people. And if ashram people didn’t do anything wrong they will not oppose it.
PS. I am a spiritual person and not a part of any hindu sect but I agree with some good sides of each sect.

Hi! after watching this video i found that BAPU ASARAM’S supporters were not wrong. They just protest the ANTI ASARAM mob. I think media vehicles were also damaged by anti asaram mob om the name of ASARAM BAPU’S supporters.

No govermnet Agency in india is apolitical -be it police, CBI, Crime branch you name it. Leaders of this agencies have been picked by various political parties (Favorable IAS, IPS, IFS officers are cherry picked by whosoever come to power at city/town level, state level or at nationallevel). Hence, Modi govermnet won’t involve CBI, in my opinion due to SONIA+LALU+PsedoSeculars still running the show. Also, Gujarat government would let this issue die out in favor of Asaram Bapu (as it happended in case of ‘Didi’ of Swadhyay Parivar for kiling the voice of truth)because of political alliance between Naremndra Modi and L.K. Advani who teamed up against pseudo-BJP A.B. Vajpai faction post-godhara riots.
All in all – ‘Satya’ never ‘Jayate’ and don’t get me wrong I am not pointing finger at Narendra Modi because I am convinced we need him for survival of our sindhu-saraswat value system. For that, he has to get his way out of this political mess of selfishness.
