First Chief Minister called as CEO (Chief Executive Officer) of his state in India was Andhra Pradesh’s former CM Chandrababu Naidu. Then came Narendra Modi who also was called CEO of Gujarat state popularly. Initially it seemed Narendra Modi used to enjoy this term but now he has deserted this liking.

“I am not ‘CEO’ of any state. I have problem with this term ‘CEO’ because any ‘CEO’ will just look for his company’s good. But I don’t look just at my government’s good but peoples good. I believe in participation of common man’s strength in government’s work.” Chief Minister of Gujarat, Narendra Modi said yesterday, while talking to postgraduate Public management and policy course students from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad(IIMA).

Modi said “We should not call India, a developing nation. India’s cultural heritage, administrative system, public ethics and power of people all factors together are committed to continuous growth.”

IIM Ahmedabad’s 39 post graduate students who come from different sectors such as administrative system, public, corporate and defense sectors participated in almost two hour discussion session with Narendra Modi. Session was conceived by IIMA’s popular professor Ravi.C.

“India is a nations of villages. Gandhiji’s philosophy is still relevant for our rural economy. We just need to implement it in today’s contemporary context and for that strong will power is necessary. Not politicians but Rishi-Maharshis created this nation. If people have faith in government, they surely support the administration. Gujarat has developed this model. Secret of success lies in spirit of service. Think every task, every responsibility as only and only service for the people” Modi said.

As a leading role in politics ,chief minister of Gujarat Mr. Narendra Modi’s statement , he is not a CEO of state shows his judicious personality . A CEO is responsible only for his sector but as a
CM he is also responsible to his party (BJP) and other norms.
But he is leading good his public !!!!!!!!

IT IS THE DUTY OF EVERY CITIZEN TO B WELL AWARE WITH POLITICAL SITUATION OF THE COUNTRY.
Such an influenced speech made by our honourable C.M. He talks that social and moral responsibilties are those that always come before business responsibilities. It reflects that even the feild of politics can be as trensparent as any other thing (that is what Gujarat Government have proved so far). Most of us take POLITICS or POLITICIAN as abuses. But we need to change our definition for politics and of politician. Politics is the part and partial of life. I shall want my child to be a political LEADER, instead of a business leader.
From the speech given by Shri Narendra Modi, one can easily notice the importance of political leaders. One may compromize with a currupt business leader but can’t with a poitical leader. Afterall, they are the figurehead of the country/region. They represent us to the world.
Since I m a management student, I know, what are the dynamics of a leader.
Taking Mr. Modi into account he is a perfect leader. He comprises almost all the qualities that are required to be a leader. He knows the need of people. He loves to keep people with him.Cool temprament, risk taking ability, a good speaker, workoholicness, the attitude, sanse of duty, empathy for Common Man- are some of his qualities. He takes challenges as if he were meant for it. On top of everything, he is the combination of CHARIZMATIC LEADER and VISIONARY LEADER!! One may easily find many managemet lessons form his work. Like Resource Allocation, Men Power Mangement, Fund creation, Marketin Speech etc…
Words are certainly not enough to describe such a personality. So, luckily if you are happened to be a Gujarati, and if you face any problem in Gujarat, DON’T say “OH GOD,I HAVE A BIG PROBLEM” instead say with confidence, “OH PROBLEM, I HAVE BIG NARENDRA MODI..!!!”
    Jai JaiGavi Gujarat.
    Jai Hind.

  3. Venkatesh Krishnamoorthy says:

Narendra Modi’s charismatism is well-known in our country. For a country which needs a tough and tacktical minister; he has all the qualifications to the post. One really heeds to his comments or advice as everybody happens to know about his doings for the past few years in Gujrat, creating a wonderful governance thereby leading to public development. I amused to see that no criticism hampers this man and he walks the way straight uninterrupted
