Is anti-Asaram outfit ‘Jagega Gujarat’ a mask of Congress?

Even very active, experienced and senior journalists in Ahmedabad had never heard about Jagega Gujarat Sangharsh Samiti before Asaram Bapu gurukul’s two boys mysterious death issue came into limelight. In last two weeks, this unregistered, unrecognized outfit Jagega Gujarat Sangharsh Samiti has announced two strikes in Ahmedabad and Gujarat. This outfit also organized a rally in Ahmedabad. Outfit grabbed considerably well media coverage too in Asaram issue. It is a general perception in media and among public that this outfit is self raised peoples body. But is this really a fact?
DeshGujarat investigated in this issue to know basic truth about this outfit whose strike calls resulted in torching of more than 40 vehicles, stone pelting at several places, closure of trade worth millions, and dozens of people injured in Ahmedabad. Interestingly, both strike calls announced by this outfit were supported by Congress party. And when we looked deeper into the organizational structure of Jagega Gujarat Sangharsh Samiti, we found this outfit not only Congress supported one but more or less like a mask and Congress party behind it.
Vice president of Jagega Gujarat Sangharsh Samiti is Mr. Naresh Shah who is secretary of Gujarat pradesh youth Congress. On his visiting card, his office address is shown as Rajeev Gandhi Bhavan, behind V.S. hospital, Paldi, Ahmedabad 7 which is a Gujarat Congress headquarter address. General Secretary of this outfit Mr. Nirav Bakshi is also former General Secretary of NSUI which is a student wing of Congress party. Nirav Bakshi is son of Congress corporater Surendra Bakshi who is leader of opposition in Ahmedabad muncipal Corporation. Gujarat Congress vice president Ashok Punjabi has been appointed as an adviser of this outfit recently after rickshaw union under his leadership supported the strike calls.
However president of Jagega Gujarat Mr. Prakash Kapadiya who has import-export business claims his outfit is non-political. President of another self-created body ‘Gujarat merchant chamber’ Kapadiya says, he himself bared the expenses of 1,30,000 Rs. newspaper advertisements for announcement of strike. He claims he does this only for social cause. He also claims that Narendra Modi does get frightened by his name because of his high voltage public movements such as Octroi abolishment and Asaram issue where government had to succumb. Meeting between governor of Gujarat and Asaram Bapu gurukul’s two dead boys’ parents was also organized by Kapadiya. Kapadiya is not happy with the recent decision of dead boys parents to meet the chief minister to end indefinite fast without getting their demand of CBI probe fulfilled. Parents of dead boys had earlier even not supported Gujarat wide strike call announced by Jagega Gujarat Sangharsh Samiti. Gujarat wide strike call was a failure out of Ahmedabad.
Jagega Gujarat sangharsh samiti is going to organize a press conference on Sunday. Latest demand of this outfit is to kick out Asaram ashram from Ahmedabad and Gujarat! Interestingly this latest demand was originally coined out recently in a Gujarati column by famous columnist whose proximity with Congress is decades long and undoubted. His book was inaugurated by Congress president’s political advisor.

“jaagega gujarat” against ” jeetega gujarat ” too late. whoever they may be, by name (of the outfit) it sounds like they are far behind ground reality. gujarat is already woken up & that is why they elected BJP & MODI SIR in the past election.
For service to gujarat & gujarati people, i urge rupang bhatt ( & for this matter anybody else ) to name this journalist & also let us know for which newspaper(s) he writes. so that wise people can avoid to purchase these newspaper. in democracy this is the only way you can protest. dont support people who dont believe in what you believe in.

In the begining my prediction was right !!!!!!!!!!!that congress is doing all this to put wrong image on the national level to get soft corner from innocent people. and media was also not away from it when first day I read tis biased paer divyabhaskar ‘ feed back in which all people who sent feedback were really congres party worker . I dont know why congress itself doing wrong thing to disturb gujarati people . ????

These Politicians ……..they go to any extent to full-fill their petty desires. For them this is just an opportunity to cash out at the expense of the country. They don’t realise bapuji is not backing any party. He is always backing Satya, Desh ki sewa & helping the people realize their responsibility towards their country.
He always says we don’t have to go out of our way to do anything.. if everyone full-fills thier responsibilities correctly… they have done a big sewa
He goes from place to place explaining this to people and filling the hearts of the people with Bhagawat Preeti…..and helping the people lead a simple and blissful life.
What is happening is nothing new for Hindu saints.. Samaj have created similar problems for Buddha..Kabhir…Nanak..Vashishth Je during thier mortal period and have created temples and ashrams after the Mahapurush have left their Body.

I agree with the intent of what you guys have said but it is the people of Gujarat who needs to wake up and oppose these non-sense news papers and its columnists. two were known for their Masala News all along, third daily joined the band wagon, these are the lowest/cheapest quality news papers i have seen in the world.
About this Saint ‘Bapu’, he has been spreading message of Vedanta, peace and harmony all along, it seems these news paperwalas wanted share of this saint’s fame and wanted to take out money from this saint since he has large following, attempts have been made earlier but nothing came out, this time as well nothing is going to come out but the truth.

I know Bapuji very well ..at least for 21 years now and this all is certainly an effort to defame the great personality.
He has criticized ill policies publicly which has always been taken in bad spirit by congress leaders in Gujarat. They are trying to misuse this opportunity. I strongly believe truth will prevail everybody will know how big an Asset Bapuji is to our Nation.
verybody knows his devotees can not cause voilence or attack on any person.. not just on media. Some people who have no sympathy for boys have misused this and have even hired people to pretend as Ashram followers and create all kinds of problem
I am requesting everybody to completely understand the situation and support the truth, there are thousands of students studying in several Gurukuls for a decade and this one incident in a decade is being used by evil factors to defame the great personality and you guys are supporting them.. that is very frustrating.
Has media ever tried to highlight how Bapuji’s Gurukuls has served the children from some of the poorest families in tribal areas .. who even do not have sufficient to eat.. world would not have cared if those poor children would have died of hunger.. so Media has not been highlighting the best efforts but are misusing an incident to mislead the people.
