An intruder from Pakistan under Gujarat Police ATS scanner

40 year old Mohammad Ashfaq Mohammad Nazir who was caught while intruding in to the Indian territory of Gujarat from Pakistan through Kutch/Sindh border pillar 972/35 was picked up by Gujarat police Anti terrorist squad from Suigam police station for interrogation to check whether he had some connection with recent Ahmedabad bomb blasts or related activities or not.

When caught by Border Security Force Gujarat frontier Company no.117 commander Shripal Yadav on 15th of August night at around 10:30 pm, Mohammad Ashfaq Mohammad Nazir said he was a citizen of India belonging to Rukamalpur village of Azamgadh district in Uttar-pradesh.

Mohammad was carrying Rs.9500 Pakistani currency along with Indian currency of Rs.5,000 in a bag. In bordering Suigam police station’s primary interrogation he reveled that he had went to Pakistan by a ship from Calcutta and had spent one month there. Two Pakistani men were with him in his help up to the international border when he was on his way to come back to India.

Incidentally alleged master-mind of Ahmedabad bomb blasts Abu Bashr is also from Azamgadh district in Uttar-Pradesh. Gujarat Anti Terrorist Squad is going to check Mohammad, his story, his connections and his motives thoroughly.
