Asaram Bapu announces Rs 2 crore assistance for Bihar flood relief

Amidst one bye one new emerging controversies almost on daily bases, Asaram Bapu on Sunday announced Rs. two crore assistance for flood affected areas of Bihar. Asaram Bapu himself announced this at his Ahmedabad ashram today when he was addressing a routine gathering. Sources say Asaram Bapu is in Ahmedabad for last three-four days.
When contacted, Ahmedabad ashram’s spokesperson Uday Sanghani supported the fact and said that ashram had already started relief missions in flood affected areas of Bihar. He said calamity in Bihar is so big that everybody has to contribute something. Asaram ashram has huge manpower. Part of which is now employed for relief work in Bihar. Sanghani said “In later stage, we would possibly adopt a village in Bihar as a part of our relief plan. For now we are mobilizing man power with relief materials in trucks. We have huge presence of our devotees in Bihar and surrounding states and we want to contribute to the relief and rescue work applying maximum of our resources.”
Meanwhile critics of Asaram Bapu and neutral observers of Asaram affairs when contacted and informed about this announcement said “Asaram Bapu is in need to generate good-will. There is no check on him about whether he would spend Rs. 2 cr. really as he has announced or not . Asaram ashram might have worked for rescue in other calamities in previous years but has never announced such assistance publicly before. Now after much controversy Asaram Bapu seems desperate to do something for public good. Though this is a welcome step anyway, it is interesting to learn that Asaram’s organization is so rich that is has announced as much as Rs. 2 crore as an assistance which is double than state of Sikkim’s announcement of Rs. 1 cr. assistance for Bihar. Himachal Pradesh state government has announced assistance of Rs. 2 crore which is matching to Asaram Bapu’s individual announcement. Asaram Bapu is that big. It is good if he really employs his men and money power to service oriented projects such as Bihar flood relief. If Hindu religious organizations genuinely spend their money to public good it would be a welcome scenario and in line with what Christian Missionaries are doing worldwide.”

You can help a blind but you cannot help those who haveclosed their eyes due to their vested interests.Comparing Sant Shree Asaram Bapuji with that of Chrstian MIssionaries is a clear indiction to that fact.History speakes of their virtuesand are known to everybody.Their help is conditional whereas Saints like shree Asaram Bapuji do all these things out of their kindness(Karuna).It is very sad state of affairs that such type of peoples are being called as cricts and Neutrals observers? To call those persons who are creating such controversies as critics is like calling a servant as Maharaj.
Well the article has two terms there : neutral observers and critics.Quite funny.Isn’t it? People are weighing a Saint of the stature of Sant Shri Asharanji Bapuji with their barmy dialects!!From time immemorial Pujya Sant Shri Asharanji Bapuji had been doing these ‘Seva’ works to the needy society,to the areas of natural calamities(great works were done in the Tsunami disaster and in Bhuj earthquake also)…His Holiness Pujya Bapuji has nothing to show to the world…the ASHRAM is not a christian missionary who works in the disaster management for the sake of conversion.Neutral observers!!!We all are deaf and dumb to believe that they are neutral observers,really…huu!
sandesh paper should high light this also.only star news is showing this other news channel are not bothered.why?we know bapuji’s ashram does this social work n humanitarian work on regular basis.

Its not the first time, Pujya Bapu has done many such favors in last 40 yrs. recently which i can recall are tsunami relief, and providing relief to eartquake victims in gujrat and he also provides free medication facility.
Lot of relief work is always done by Sadhaks of Pujashri in every natural calamity in last 40 years – be it Orissa cyclone, Jabalpur earthquake, Gujarat earthquakes, gujarat cyclone, tsunami, to name a few. Ashram has built and donated hundreds of houses to the homeless. Ever heard of such self less service by any organisation? Relief is provided to all needy without consideration of cast creed or religion- there is no ulterior motive like conversion.
This kind of karuna kripa is not even remotely comparable to conversion-mongers working in guise of service. Why not media show this after researching into past such good deeds of Ashram? The reason is simple – good deeds do not attract TRP’s equal to their forged hate-campaign. But people of India are not blind – ye public hai sab janati hai.!!
In deed Sant Shri Asaram bapu has done excellent social service by setting up asharms even in remote village areas and helped the poor in villages without hunger for any publicity. I came to know this ONLY when the case of murder of 2 children happened in his Abd ashram.
However, my opinion is that 100 good deeds can not allow any one to do a crime or allow it to happen. I do remember and it greatly hurt me when Shri Asaram bapu made totally an uncaring statement that such incidents take place (when 2 children died) and are normal. What surprises me that if ”HE and his devottees” determine to find the culprit of the murder, it is practically impossible for him to escape. But it seems that protection is provided to him / them, the reason best known to HIM !! Sorry, I do have high regards and hats off for all his teachings and social service but this is also the fact.
Hope the present declaration of relief to Bihar is not more of a publicity but a real intention.

Where is the media now, the fact that Bapuji has been doing these kind of help was never acknowledged earlier by media since the media is more interested in creating NEWS rahter than letting public know the real facts is more clear now. Hat off to the media like Star News and other who bring the TRUTH and not the NEWS to increase thier TRP.
Media please undrstand that you are major link between the society so it becmes your moral duty to tell the truth, don’t think that you are the SUPER power to make or break anyone, one day you will have to answer to HIM too.

hai ab kisi mein dum yeh karuna match kerne ka. Kahan hain woh channel waale, 2 crore nahin to 20lac hi dein logon ko bachane ke liye. per woh to shayad scandal dhoond ker paisa banane mein busy hain.
And as various folks have pointed out it is not the nature of the Ashram to publish or publicize such donations because it is so natural to them. Please note that no press release was released even for the grant of 2crore. Also I remember two other ocassions previously on one of which I was present when Bapu announced help of 50lacs for the farmers of Maharashtra to help them in their misery some time back.
Bapuji have been doing selfless deed for four decades now, which is always ignored by media. Where as even if small service is done by Christian Missinaries it gets wide footage in media. Otherwise there is no comparison of what Bapuji has been doing to Chrisitin missionaries
Hari Om, Now people Knows who is Asaramji Bapu, let me tell you he not only announces the package of 2 crores but the big thing is that his samities work in affected places of Bihar from initial stage itself. He work for the people from last 46 years. My salute to such a Great Saint of India.
