Bhavnagar ‘B’ division Police picked up five youths in connection with hoax call of bomb blasts threat. Last night a caller from Bhavnagar had allegedly called a person in Surat and had said in Indian Mujahidin style “We are going to perform a terror act of bomb blasts in the city of Indore(Madhya Pradesh) within one hour. Stop us if you can ….”

According to sources Jagdip Makwana, Mehul Shah, Dharmik Patel, Madhav Patel and Hiren Magiya were the five youths picked up and detained by Bhavnagar Police in connection with this call.

When one of these youths allegedly called a person in Surat and said “We are going to perform a terror act of bomb blasts in Indor(Madhya Pradesh) within one hour. Stop us if you can ….” a person on receiving end in Surat informed Surat Police about this. Surat Police traced the call to Bhavnagar’s Kaliyabid area and in prompt action informed Indore and Bhavnagar Polices about this. Bhavnagar Police took quick actions and detained five youths from Kaliyabid area.

As per preliminary information coming in, Bhavnagar caller was knowing a Surat person and the call under scanner was made just for fun. Interrogation was on.
