i don’t understand a logic why this happend with TATA’s project? as mention in this artical, nissan also setup plant in chenni and no oppose about land even it might have given farm land. looks like some one interested in destroying or creating bad image of india.. looks like some one targeting destablise india and its industries. that is why bomb blast, oppose indian company’s project…. this congress will sell our countery..

Gujarat should after moving into automotive components then move into aerospace components business. That is where the really huge profit margins are. Automotive component manufacturing will give manufacturing expertise to Gujarat based companies and will make it easier to build some knowledge, engineering and manpower base for moving into Aerospace components business. For the maintenance of aircrafts, many aircrafts have to be sent to foreign countries like singapore sometimes where the costs are higher.
To make good aerospace and automotive components Gujarat would need good students with in depth knowledge of METALLURGY and MECHANICAL Engineering. Please create specialists in these areas- Fracture mechanics, Composites(Metal matrix, Ceramic matrix and Polymer matrix), Finite Element Modeling(FEM) using ABACUS/Ansys etc, CAD/CAM specialists etc. Gujarat needs to create masters/PhD programmes in its engineering colleges and give scholarships and research grants and push profs and students to publish papers. That’s how we will create manpower for industry
