Anti-Modi protests: VHP, MJP protesters detained in Gujarat

Police in Ahmedabad today detained Maha Gujarat Janta Party (MJP) leaders Gordhan Zadafia, Sunil Oza along with their 50 supporters who were protesting against the arrest of Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s Ahmedabad unit General Secretary Ashwin Patel.
MJP’s more than 300 supporters had organised the sit-in protest at the busy traffic junction Income Tax circle without a permission from police. Police detained and later released them.
“Ashwin Patel was a person who called me from Godhra when Sabarmati Express carnage happened there. I was then Minister of state for Home at that time. It was Ashwin Patel’s phone call that informed about Godhra carnage and attack on karsevaks and the force to prevent further killings there could be mobilized immediately. Such an important Hindu activist is now arrested by Modi’s police. On the contrary a Muslim youth who threatened Modi via email some time back was called in Gandhinagar and was offered sweet by Narendra Modi in his office,” he said.
“The MJP workers would organise similar sit-ins in all districts across the state and would court arrest tomorrow,” he said. “This government is anti-Hindu and the arrest of Ashwin Patel has exposed its real face. We will support the VHP on this issue,” Zadafia said addressing his supporters.
Meanwhile in another protest program, Gujarat VHP president Dilipbhai trivedi with his more than 400 supporters hold a sit-in protest in Ahmedabad’s Ghatlodia area. Police detained 70 VHP workers for holding the agitation without permission.

It’s shame on VHP and RSS that they are doubting Modi’s hindutva .. We have casted our votes in the name of modi’s hindutva and his progressive and developing nature and we are proud of him ..

Gujarat doesn’t need VHP, Gujarat needs Modi.
VHP would ask you to breed like rats, Modi would ensure that people don’t hesitate from giving birth to the girls.
VHP would go and kill innocent people on the name of hinduism and bring bad name to all the hindus. Modi would bring growth in Gujarat and make all the hindus affluent.
VHP would stay disconnected with technology and Modi would use modern technology for the betterment of Gujarat.
Let us throw VHP out and support Modi.
In democracy politics and religion don’t get mixed. A good leader has to be for the people regardless of cast,religion,social status etc, that does not mean he is in favor or against any religion. Wake up Hindus.. what happened to our great Hindu teaching that is attracting even people from other beliefs. Instead of wasting energy for negative compaign use constuctively to make your organization stronger and let your real hindu teaching shine throughout the world.Government has to do it’s part. In other countries the government is not Hindu still lots of hindus are living peacefully. Organization like VHP should hold their values vary high so more people feel comfortable to join not to increase kaos and disturbance.Don’t make other religion believers happy by your behavior.

Mr Zadafia and party are right they should protest against Narendra Modi. So that way they can prove their presence in Gujarat politics, but they sould give some good reasons for the protest so all gujaratis can understand and can join them, Can the MJP protest against the narendra modi who bring Progress, Peace, Work, Foreign trades, 24 hr electricity, water, education? Can they protest against the Namo who rules not only in gujarat but rules the heart of all Gujjus, They have no answers.
Why can’t they go and protest against Raj Thakrey who is threatning and killing innocent Hindus in Maharastra, Please go and protest in J&K where the separatist burning Indian Flag in Lal Chowk, Please go and protest in Orissa, Assam, Kerala, Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Manipur, Meghalaya where Hindus are converted to christianity.
We know VHP, RSS are doing good for Hindus but Namo is not doing anything bad for us too. He is a great personality let him work with his own style for the progress of Gujarat. And you carry on the other issues that effect Hindus.
Let us face the facts. India never had a CM, so forward looking, so entrepreneural and so focussed on development. If VHP fails to recognize this and tries to play cheap and dirty politics against Modi, VHP must be opposed.
Gujaratis, wake up and throw VHP out if it comes in the way of our growth and development.
to patel, do not compair this with raj thakrey,as image of modi is different,you know better why godhra riots happen, modi is not good hindu but bad side of hindu politics .all gujjus why support to modi i know very well, but what about innoscent killed in godhra .we need india made of both hindu–muslim united,not divided ,THOUGH TODAY GUJARAT DEVOLOPED WELL BUT SHOULD NOT FORGOT DIRTY POLITICS PLAYED BY MODI IN GODHRA LEAD TO LONG TERM IMPACTS IN HINDU–MUSLIM RELATION IN INDIA
