Narendra Modi to attend Bangalore IT.biz 2008 on 6 November

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi will attend Bangalore IT.Biz 2008 mega show on 6th of November. Gujarat is a ‘partner state’ for IT.Biz 2008 which is being organised by the Karnataka Department of IT, BT and Science and Technology, Bangalore’s Software Technology Parks of India and MM Activ Sci-Tech Communications at Palace grounds, Bangalore.
Earlier Gujarat government had planned a road show lead by Energy Minister Saurabh Patel in Bangalore on 7th of November to promote Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors Summit(VGGIS) 2009. But according to sources, now VGGIS promotion will be held on 6th instead of seventh under the leadership of Chief Minister Narendra Modi himself.
Gujarat is going to set up 108 square meters pavilion in 12,000 square meters IT.Biz 2008 event to exhibit infrastructure facilities and investment opportunities available in the state. Gujarat’s big-wig bureaucrats Gaurikumar, M.M.Shrivastav, P.K.Taneja etc will also be present in Bangalore IT.Biz 2008 along with the Chief Minister according to sources.
Bangalore IT.biz has attracted more than 100 companies with confirmed participation from TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Microsoft, Cisco, Intel, AMD, Siemens, Nokia, BSNL, Airtel, HP, IBM, Dell, Oracle and Texas Instruments, among others.
Mexico as a partner country of this event is going to send a 50-strong delegation that would include the Minister of Economy, government officials and industry representatives. There would be delegations from countries such Germany, Japan, Denmark and the UK also.
