Rajkot to get new zoo next year

Rajkot will get new Zoo in middle of next year according to Rajkot Municipal Corporation’s Standing Committee Chairman Jaymin Upadhyay.
The project for new improved zoo which started eight years ago was delayed due to dispute with a contractor who left the project in middle of the work. Enclosures for bear, leopard and monkeys are yet to be built. Construction works for internal roads and main gate are also yet to be completed.
