Teach Pakistan a lesson to root out terrorism from India:Modi
Ahmedabad, DeshGujarat, 1 December, 2008
Addressing a rally for BJP’s election campaign in Rajasthan on Sunday, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi said “When Pakistan has sent terrorists in our country and raised the war, why Indian government is silent and sitting idle? Without teaching Pakistan a lesson, terrorism can not be rooted out from the land of India. Time has come when Central government should treat Pakistan strongly.”
Requesting central government to review India’s relations with Pakistan again from zero, Modi said “Why to have a ceasefire with Pakistan? Why should we start Samjauta express? If Pakistan wants to destroy India from the other side of the border then Indian government also must respond in strictest possible manner to it.”
Continuing his bombardment over the Congress led UPA government Modi said “India can not remain silent anymore now. The nation is in no mood to tolerate UPA government’s silence even after the situation where terrorists motivated by Pakistan cross the border and enter inside our land to kill innocent people.”
“Home Minister Shivraj Patil’s resignation is an attempt to mislead the people of this country,” Modi said.
“Central government is unable to deal with terrorism because of vote bank politics. We can’t expect anything from Congress which has failed to secure a common man, which has failed to promise future to our youths,” Modi said.
