As a part of Kutch Rann Utsav 2008 tourism fiesta, the All India sand sculpture competition has been organized on the Mandvi beach in Kutch.

12 teams from all over India are going to participate in this competition.

Orissa’s famous sand sculpturist Manmohan Mahapatra has already started making his sand sculpture on the beach.
