Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated his dream project Kankaria Lakefront on December 25th, 2008. Medieval era’s Kankaria lake is situated in eastern part of the old city. The lake falls under Chief Minister Narendra Modi’s Maninagar constituency. Modi while inaugurating Kankaria lake front and kicking off the Kankaria Carnival festival spoke his mind on Kankaria lake, Kankaria Carnival, development, civic sense etc. Enjoy the video.

Many Congratulations to Shri Narendra Modi. Gujarat initiates, India follows as shown in the recent elections in the states. I hope the way Kankaria Lake rehabilated, other popoular/historical sites in other cities will have a new look.
The New Year is about to knock our door, Lets have few resolutions being Gujaratis.
1) We will Not break the trafic signal.
2) We will stop “Pan Ni PichKari”!!.
3) We will stop throwing “Kacharo” here and there.
4) we will stop using Horns unnecessary.
5) We will stop giving bribe.
To keep Kankaria Lake clean it is our Responsibity.

On 29th I flew from Ahmedabad airport. I vowed that I will never fly through Ahmedabad. Ask some senior office to personally visit the airport during flights takeoff and see themself. I was told that in four months new airport will be in operation. How about the behaviour of the staff. I found accessive staff but they did not care to stream line things.
