Infact Bangalore was the first always in introducing Buses with Flush doors, low floor buses, air conditioned buses, VOLVO city buses, vestibule buses, GPS technology was introduced in buses by Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation... Bangalore has currently ordered 1500 VOLVO city buses, each costing around 75lakhs, it automatically defines the wealth and standard of BMTC...BMTC is the only transport corporation in INDIA making profits.. i dont think BMTC will have follow Gujarat Transit system.. infact other transport corporations are now following BMTC..
