GMB to develop two virgin beaches as tourist attraction in Saurashtra
Gandhinagar, DeshGujarat, 27 June, 2009
Gujarat Maritime Board is developing two beaches in Saurashtra region, to attract tourists, under the state government’s Sagarkhedu project.
Proposed beaches are located near Okha and Una in Jamnagar and Amreli districts respectively.
Gujarat Maritime Board is developing basic facilities such as water front development, restaurant, beautification of surrounding area and construction of connecting road to attract tourists to the beaches.
The beaches under development are relatively lesser known and almost virgin.
