Kamdhenu University to be set up in Sabarkantha district

Gujarat Government has sanctioned Rs. 6 crore to set up new Kamdhenu University to impart education and undertake research work in animal husbandry.. The Government will allot free of coast land for proposed university.
According to the state Agriculture Minister, proposed Kamdhenu University would be set up at Rajpura village of Himmatnagar taluka in North Gujarat’s Sabarkantha district.
The campus will come up over 92 hector land.
A bill for setting up of the university was passed unanimously in Gujarat assembly on Friday without any opposition.
