Kandhal Sarman Jadeja, son of ”godmother” Santokben Jadeja and main accused in the murder of Porbandar councillor Keshu Odedara was arrested in Pune in a joint operation by the Maharastra CID crime and the Porbander police.

According to the report, Kandhal Jadeja was arrested from Pune. More than 17 criminal cases, including kidnapping, murder, and threatening, are registered agains him.

Kandhal Jadeja, main accused in the murder of Keshu Odedara who was murdered on March 1, 2005, had been lodged in the Rajkot Jail. He had escaped from a private hospital where he was undergoing treatment in year 2007. Since then police were looking for him.

Santokben Jadeja’s 32-year-old daughter-in-law Rekha Kandhal Jadeja had been shot dead at her residence here on May 20, 2006. Kandhal Jadeja’s brother, Karan, was arrested from Mumbai in this connection in same year.
