Will definitely help in bringing more businesses to A'bad and its surrounding. On a separate note, why are these airlines not starting any flights to and from Surat. Surat is Gujarat's second largest city and India's most important center in textile and diamond industry. People from all over India have migrated to Surat for earning their livelihood. Surtis never think twice in spending as well, so all in all it could become a profitable sector for the airlines to operate flights on this route.
