Muslims of Godhra prayed for long and healthy life of Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi at Jindashah Madar’s mosque near Nagar Palika office.
Muslim leaders – Harunsha Divan, Hazrat Fulsaiyad Bava Mazar’s Khadim Bhurabapu, Maulana Lalabhai and large group of Muslim community members prayed for fast recovery of Modi’s health during Namaz session on Saturday.

But what do we see, it is not some fringe element, but Deoband, India’s famous muslim seminary which says no to “Vande Mataram” which is the naional song of India. With such perverse thinking, no wonder most muslims in Gujarat and elsewhere vote congress I (islami-isai) despite its record keeping India poor and backward.
Even when many muslims agree, NaMo, BJP have done a superior job administering the state, they still vote Congress I (islami-isai). Muslims should be more native Indian (Gujarati) and less islamic to earn native trust.
Trying to pretend as that rogue syed ahmed khan did that he belonged to two circles – one Indian, one islamic, and then working for the glory of one (islam) and undermining the second (native indian) is deceit. Native Indians will be better off seeing thru such islamic deceit.

We have suffered enough by our good faith engagement with muslims. We have suffered for this among other things by partition- our lands stolen away, destruction of our places of worship et al. It is time for muslims to prove through their CONCRETE not SYMBOLIC actions that they care.
I welcome musalmaan prayers for NaMo as a symbolic act though we know God will protect NaMo even without musalmaan prayers. Muslims have to show through concrete actions that they deserve native trust. Voting NaMo in large numbers to prove their commitment to Gujarat’s progress is no big deal, should Indian Muslims care.
