Modi calls high-level meeting to review Cyclone Phyan in Gujarat

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi called an emergency high-level meeting at Gandhinagar Secretariat based State Emergency Operation Centre on Wednesday morning to review the disaster management preparations of state administration as cyclone Phyan is likely to cross South Gujarat coast by midnight today.
Revenue Minister, Urban development minister, Chief Secretary, State Police Chief, Revenue and Disaster Management officials were present in the meeting.
The Chief Minister directed collectors and disaster management units of Bhavnagar, Anand, Vadodara, Ahmedabad and all south Gujarat districts to stay on high-alert. He directed the Police Chief to put State Reserve Police Force on alert.
CM would review the situation again today evening at 5.00 pm.
