Aamir Khan visits village school in Gujarat for film promotion

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan today visited Lok Niketan Vinay Mandir school in Dangiya village near Dantivada town in North Gujarat and surprised the students and teachers here. Aamir took lunch, played cricket and gifted two golden rings, two cricket balls, six tennis balls, one voley ball, four tickets of film premier with air tickets and two foot balls in the school.

Accompanied by his secretary, another female and his bodyguard, and dressed in black t-shirt and jeans, Aamir arrived at Lok Niketan around noon, but initially no body recognized him. Aamir then met the principal and discussed his visit. In his two-hour long visit to the school, Aamir interacted with the students of std. seven to ten. Aamir heard a song from a student. When one student showed Aamir’s photo that he keeps in his pocket, Aamir picked up and kissed him. Aamir shared lunch from lunch box of girl student.

For publicity of his forthcoming film Three Idiots, Aamir is visiting different places across the country.

Aamir invited Principle Bharatsinh Rajput, teacher Vishnubhai Patel, peon Karshanbhai Prajapati and his son Madhabhai Prajapati to Mumbai to celebrate his film’s premier party on 23 December and also gave them X-Ahmedabad air tickets.


Aamir plays Gujarati character in Three idiots

It is learnt that Aamir Khan has played a Gujarati youngster’s character in his forthcoming film Three idiots. Aamir is called Rancho in the film. The full form is Rancho is actually Ranchhoddas lakshmandas Chhanchhad. Though Aamir does not discuss this, in one of the press conversations he actually revealed this.
