Gujarat two Shahid jawans who gave their life during gun-fight with terrorists: Major Rushikesh Ramani and Sepoy Mahesh Parmar will get Sena Medal(Gallantry) posthumous.

Name of both Jawans were declared for the award on the eve of nation’s Republic day.

Meanwhile the name of Gujarat’s IPS Police officer Shri Pritam Chand Thakur, Inspector General of Police has been announced for President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service.

Shri Balvantsinh Desaibhaii Parmar, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Protection branch, Gandhinagar(4).Shri Vinodchandra Mohanlal Anand, Police Inspector CID Crime & Railway, Gandhinagar,Police Medal for meritorious service, (5). Biharilal Barot, Police Inspector, Himmatnagar, (6). Vijaysinh Zala, Police Inspector, ACB, Ahmedabad, (7). Mahesh Gupta, Police Inspector, Ahmedabad, (8).Jasdan Tapariya, (PSI) SRPF-15, ONGC, (9).Rajendrakumar Mehta(ASI) SRPF-13, Ghanteshwar, Rajkot, (10).Kanji Ayri(constable) Bhuj, (11)Mahammadhanif Bloch(Constable) Rajkot Rural, (12)Mahadev Sevaykar(Constable) Surat, (13)Chaturbhai Solanki(Intelligence) Gandhinagar will get Police medal for merirorious service.

Gujarat’s two children: Narendrasinh Solanki and Vaishali Shambhubhai are honored for their bravery.
