I appreciate your concerns, however the situation of Mother rivers of Daman Ganga and Bhagwan nadi has become so grave that it has gone beyond the hands of Vapi Municipality or GPCB.
So deeply entrenched is the Kangress goonda machinery here that it requires only the Home Ministry to reign control over this silent terrorism.
The American/British/European/Japan countries are highly dependent on these polluting units, and they know very well why they have banned these factories in their countries. To protect the gutters of western countries from these toxic pollutants the Kangress party chamchaas has been bribed and obliged to run organized criminal syndicates in this region to throw their residual poison into our fresh waters which we revere as Mother while taking away the finished products at a dirt cheap prices.
I don’t understand why is Gujarat Government cannot stop this crimes.

i think i read on this website that a new township was being set up in partnership with Japan around this area which would be eco friendly and set up treatment plants to improve industrial wastes… is this not astep towards this….unfortunately, we indians want magicians to change alll the mess overnight!!
we should help contribute to the system with our contribution, cooperation and applicable ideas if any,.. this will help speed the process….and this is not to favour any govt, but if we see the total pictuer we are only helping ourselves in the end!!!

Hey Hari,

why don’t you give the name of the leader of vapi? can you give us the email or website who is elected from vapi. if he is from congress then we can not do any thing. if the leader of vapi from BJP then we can try.

the local problem should take care by local leader and people.

the vapi region was courrupted many years back. even due to chemical , whole farming got affected.
the most buetiful region got polluted by chemicals. but it was happend many years back. now need to think how to rollback. and for that we must responsible local MLA (so called public represtentetive)

Perhaps you don’t know the other side of the ‘development’ story. It is like a hell out there with the rivers of Daman Ganga and Bhagwan nadi smelling utterly foul and looking like filthy gutters. People are tired of knocking at the doors of the Courts, because Gujarat Government is ignoring their orders to stop the pollution of this rivers. You bore a well in nearby villages of Vapi and water comes out in various colors!

Because there is no aquatic life left in the river they have become a breeding ground for mosquitoes and foul smells and mosquitoes rule the life of people here. The Home ministry headed by Narendra Modi is deaf and sleeping to this silent terrorism.

Most of the polluting companies in Vapi are serving the American and British markets, why? because the pollution arising from these factories are banned even to be thrown even into their gutters, whereas the Gujarat administration is allowing these poison to be thrown into our fresh water Mother revered rivers.
The mindless approvals of the polluting industry and the corrupt zoning of land for industrial purpose is ruining our lives.
You may be living in your ‘clean and green’ Gandhinagar therefore you have no idea of how this money is coming in Gujarat Government at the cost of prostituting our Mother rivers. The so-called golden corridor is only one side of the story, to a common villager in this belt, it has been turned into environmental hell.
It was all started by the Chiman chor Goondaraj Kangress and BJP has done very little to change this.

@ READERS, POLLUTION IS THERE…. WE ALL HAVE TO OUR PART AND CLEAN SURROUNDING…. RIVERS ARE BECOMING POLLUTED…. AIR IS POLLUTED, AND THE WORST KIND OF POLLUTION IS MIND POLLUTION…..
ARGUMENTS WILL NOT SOLVE ANYTHING…. DRIVE LESS, WASTE LESS WATER, GROW MORE TREES, RECYCLE WHATEVER YOU CAN… USE LESS PLASTICS AND RUBBER…

i agree with Hari. but same time it is also responsibility of public to take care surrounded to them. even public not care to keep clear around the area near their house.

phir bhi ye goverment kuch toa karti hain. yea bhi hog kabhi. agar kuch parivantan kar ne ka hain toa phale tao zero se hi suruat hogi.

There something fundamentally wrong with the way Gujarat administration is running when it comes to cleanliness and standards of living, otherwise we wouldn’t have to witness the sheer rape of our Mother rivers of Daman Ganga, Bhagwan nadi and Paar and Narmada that are presently being prostituted to outsource pollution from around the world.

The administration is sleeping, or worst, colluding with the criminal polluters who have turned our Mother rivers into gutters. At the taluka and village level, except for the electricity everything else has gone to worse like the water, food, air, and the organic economy is almost dead under pressure from the American/British cartel.

We want the people in Gandhinagar to wake up to their duties.
