“Education is not life but the life is an education,” said Bollywood star Abhishek Bachchan in Vadodara when media persons asked him to comment on growing cases of suicides of students due to education related stress and tension. Abhishek said, one should learn from life and not only from books.
When asked to comment on some recent political events, Abhishek said: “no politics please. My job is to entertain the masses.”
In discussion with media persons, Abhishek admitted the fact that he got his first break in film industry only because he was son of Amitabh Bachchan. However he added that after that, it was the audience that decided his fate in the industry.
Abhi was in Vadodara for two-day shoot of his show ‘Bingo’. The shooting happened inside the hotel only where few invited people could join him. When asked about his television debut, Abhi said he was offered a show called Kaun banega crorepati junior in past, however at that time he didn’t take this offer. On comparison between Television and film, Abhishek replied: “You can’t compare them, as for an artist the platform is important, not medium.”
Narrating his Vadodara experience Abhishek said, “the state is great, the people are warm, and the food is just excellent. I had stomach full of Gujarati food today.”
