Gujarati adventurists make a documentary on Khardung La

Gujarat Tourism Minister Jaynarayan Vyas and Leader of opposition Shaktisinh Gohil will launch a DVD of adventure documentary ‘Mission Khardung-La’ made by Shasheekant Vadhela and Kartik Bhavsar at Karnavati club on Friday. Shasheekant is commercial photographer and Kartik is stringer, Doordarshan Gujarati news.

In Aug-Sept.2010 a group of 104 riders from all over India joined an Motorcycle Expedition and reached Khardong La, the worlds highest motorable road, situated in Ladakh region(J&K) at an altitude of 18,380 feet. Out of 104 riders, 28 riders were from Gujarat which was the highest number from any state. kartik and Shasheekant were part of this group.
