IPL cricket action at stadium in Ahmedabad on March 15th

The city of Ahmedabad will host IPL cricket matches on 15th, 20th, 26th and 28th March at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Motera cricket stadium.
According to Joint Commissioner of Police Satish Sharma, at least 1,000 police jawan will guard the stadium and visiting cricket teams in view of general alert due to terror attack threat. The stadium will have 60 CCTV cameras for extra vigilance. Commandos will AK-47 guns will be deployed at the stadium. Police has set up a special control room to monitor security arrangements in the stadium.
The first day-night match of IPL series in Ahmedabad will be played between Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Daredevils on 15 March. Besides cricket action, the stadium will be rocked by cheer girls dances and songs of singers like Sukhwinder, Kailash Kher, Rahul Saxena, Amit Paul etc.
About 100 bar code scanning machines are set up at the entrance gates of the stadium. This system would not allow anybody without valid ticket to enter the stadium unauthorized.
