Case against Chidambaram in Ahmedabad court for saffron terror remark

North Gujarat’s Radhanpur based Swami Nijanand Tirth on Monday filed petition against central Home minister P.Chidambaram demanding criminal prosecution for his ‘saffron terror’ remark that have “defamed Hindu faith and saints”.
Swami Nijanand said, Chidambaram’s comment is insult of Hindu dharma and sadhu, sanyasis who wear saffron cloths.The case is filed under IPC 499 and 500.
The matter is slated to come up for hearing Sep 6.
