Southern parts of Gujarat today morning witnessed rainfall with thunderstorm at at least one place.

Valsad district’s Kaprada experienced thunderstorm today. Primary reports suggest that Valsad town and surrounding areas also witnessed rain. Gujarat’s total 18 talukas witnessed rain today. The highest rain was witnessed in Gandevi. The city of Surat also had rain today. Other talukas that experienced showers include Amreli, Dang, and Tapi.

Meanwhile, almost entire Gujarat is cloudy today and latest satellite picture suggests that there could be fresh spell of rain soon. Barring few open days, Gujarat is witnessing monsoon like atmosphere and occasional drizzle,showers, heavy rain since 10th of this month.
