-Gujarat’s golden jubilee of statehood concluding ceremony function was held at Ahmedabad’s Saradar Patel stadium in Navrangpura between 7.00 and 8.30 pm.

-Over 4,800 students participated in this event.

-Those who participated are poor students who are going to have their bank accounts because the government would pay them for their dance and rehearsal through their bank account.

-All roads to Sardar Patel stadium were closed for normal traffic from afternoon itself. Only those with invitation card were allowed to enter.

-As it was Sunday, nobody bothered about closed roads around the stadium.

-People started coming in the stadium from 5.00 pm itself to avoid heavy rush and security related delays.

-The stadium was neither overcrowded, nor undercrowded.

-First arrived on stage was Keshubhai Patel who was sitting in a sofa with Vajubhai Vala. Other ministers too had arrived early.

-Then Arun Jaitley, Nirmala Sitharaman, Balbir Punj etc arrived.

-Part of stage was occupied by Saints, Maulanas and Parsi priests. The government had kept two buses for transportation of these holy men. Their buses were given traffic police car’s piloting upto parking space which was at some distance away at M.G.Science college ground.

-Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi and Governor Dr. Kamla released two books. While one book was about fifty moments of Swarnim year, the other was on budget session speeches of Gujarat’s all Governors from 1961 to 2010 in three volume.

-Gujarat Chief Minister’s speech was normal in first 13 minutes, but in last 6 minute he clearly indicated political war that the state would witness in coming days.

-The event in the stadium today was full of use of colorful lights, costumes and objects. In one dance format all Khelaiyas were wearing top with lights, and all female participants were wearing ghaghra with lights. Entire event was like a dream, and it was so colorful and enchanting, that it can not be discussed here in text format.

-The event ended at 8.30 pm, and at that time when A.R.Rehman’s Jay Jay Garvi Gujarat song finished, the Chief Minister stood up, took a mike in his hand and congratulated A.R.Rehman. Modi said A.R.Rehman is Gujarat’s son-in-law.

-Gujarat Governor had left the event in midway.

-As soon as the event concluded, Narendra Modi came to Press reporters section to meet those journalist who had come here on Gujarat government’s invitation, however he found that almost all journalists had left the place. Modi talked briefly with couple of women journalists who had came from out of the state. The journalists who had came from out of the state were provided AC bus of Gujarat Tourism with police escort.

-Entire event is going to repeat on 2nd May in the evening, and part of the stadium would be open for public to join the event.

-Journalists covering the event in the stadium were treated well by the information department. From water to juice, Pepsi to fast food, everything was arranged for journalists.

-Spider camera and fly camera were used to give a complete view of the event. There were as many as 36 cameras working to cover the event.
