Allocation doubled for tourism development at three places

Central minister for Tourism Shri Subodhkant Sahay today said his ministry intends to complete Rs. 150 crore tourism development works in Gujarat in next year.
The minister visited Gujarat’s three places of tourist interest – Kabirvad, Dwarka and Porbandar.
Speaking briefly to media persons in Porbandar Shri sahay said, “so far as tourism development is concerned, Presently Gujarat’s three tourist places Dwarka, Porbandar and Kabirvad are put under Rs. 25 crore category by the central Tourism ministry, but we are now putting each place under Rs. 50 crore category,” Shri Sahay said.
“We are investing Rs. 150 crore at three locations and we would try to complete the works in all three circuits within one year,” the minister further added.
About Porbandar’s tourism development Shri sahay said, “We would focus on how to bring those who believe Gandhi an ultimate person to Porbandar.”
