GMR keen to take part in Dholera SIR, International Airport

Infrastructure major GMR Group setting up a 25-MW solar power plant in the world’s largest solar energy farm at Charanka in north Gujarat has expressed desire to take part in Dholera Special Investment Region (SIR) and International airport projects.
DMR Group Chairman G.M. Rao and Business Chairmen Shrinivas Bomdila and B.V.N. Rao during their courtesy call on Chief Minister Narendra Modi here today said these would be their first projects in the State.
They said they would like to undertake the projects in Gujarat on Public-Private Partnership (PPP) basis. They made a presentation on their PPP projects elsewhere in the country, like Delhi and Hyderabad airports.
Prominent among those present during the meeting were Chief Minister’s Principal Secretary K. Kailashnathan, Principal Secretary (Industries) M. Sahu and Principal Secretary (Energy) J. Pandian.
