Modi visits Sardar Patel’s birth place, Santaram mandir, DDIT, Hindu anathashram in Nadiad

During his two-day stay in Nadiad town in central Gujarat, Chief Minister Narendra Modi today visited the birth place of Shri Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and interacted with the students of DDIT college here. Chief Minister Modi performed ground breaking of three major projects including Mahi oriented water supply scheme worth Rs. 57 crore, Nadiad under ground drainage expansion project worth Rs. 111.20 crore and Nadiad-Kathlal-Kapadvanj-Modasa state highway development project worth Rs. 244 crore.
Shri Modi visited Santaram mandir and received blessings of chief priest here. He visited Hindu orphanage and praised the activities. At Hindu anathashram Shri Modi was welcomed by central minister Shri Dinsha Patel. Shri Modi briefly interacted with about 100 orphan children here.
Chief Minister said that in last two weeks, Kheda district has been benefited with projects worth Rs. 757 crore.
