First get your facts correct. Many Non-Gujarati communities esp. North and South Indians also have sizeable vegetarian populations. Also, many Gujaratis (especially lower caste) are non-vegetarian. So, vegetarianism is not a Gujarati monopoly. You can find veg and non-Veg among everyone, and whether or not a person is vegetarian is not an indicator of his good or bad character. You have to be a complete idiot to believe otherwise.

And don’t for a moment think you are giving some kind of privilege to so-called “outsiders” by allowing them to stay here when Gujaratis live practically everywhere in the country. That is a Raj Thackeray mentality which is not healthy for the unity of India. Finally, if you have so much problem with KFC opening in Ahmedabad, why don’t you oppose all these McDonalds whose outlets which can be found everywhere in Ahmedabad. I’m sure not everyone eating a chicken burger there is a non-Gujarati. In fact, every second high-end restaurant opening in Ahmedabad today has a non-veg option.

And by the way, I’m myself an outsider living in Ahmedabad that you hate so much. I’m also a vegetarian.

Seems like you are among those outsiders who want our gujarat to be like their states.

We have peace and harmony which your state is not having.

WE WILL NOT ALLOW ELEMENTS LIKE YOU TO SPOIL OUT MOTHERLAND BY BLOOD OF POOR ANIMALS.

Why we Gujarati should do wrong things just because you outsiders are doing it. Killing animals is a sin in our religion and If you want to be here then you can not do it. What about when you go to gulf countries. Your sister, mother and wife are wearing BURKHA even though you are not from their religion.

We have given you the freedom does not mean you can start killing factories anywhere you want. if you are suffering from that mentality then go to your original place where you are doing this since years and years.

I am just living in one of society who are protesting against this. I am proud are more then 10 societies and template are protesting it. And we will do it till end and will stop KFC to open here in religiously strong believer’s area.

Yes, we will stand outside of this mall with requesting all vegis and true gujaratis not to even go inside the mall.

We are opposing it and with all people’s support we can definitely close KFC. Just because of this hotel other stores will also get low business.

You are not a true citizen of Gujarat, you are morally corrupt and have adopted western culture and forgotten the true culture of Gujarat. non-veg food should never be allowed to be sold in Hindu areas of Gujarat. If migrant workers want to eat non-veg food then they can create their own ghetto areas like the Muslims already have in Old Ahmedabad where they can buy and sell non-veg food.

We DON’T need to please “outsiders”. Gujarat and Gujaratis can do well by themselves. It is vital to keep Gujarati culture intact free from Bollywood, criminals , who will infiltrate to plunder Gujarat once again just as Gujarat has been plundered for centuries.
