Gujarat IPS jumps from 6000 ft,sings songs,cheers loudly,lands in lake

In a Para jumping event held at Ahmedabad’s Kankaria lake front on the occasion of Kankaria Carnival, Gujarat Police’s one of the most fitness freak cops Atul Karwal jumped from 6,000 ft. Karwal is presently a Joint Commissioner of Police of sector two in Ahmedabad city has in past climbed the Mount Everest. His expedition was sponsored by the Gujarat government.
After landing successfully in the Kankaria lake, Karwal told media persons, “I am always afraid of jumping from the plane, however once I am out in the air, it feels very nice and joyful.”
“It is wonderful to see the Kankaria lake and the city of Amdavad from the height of one or one and half km above the ground. It’s like living the life of a bird for some time,” Karwal who has written a book with his IAS officer wife Anita Karwal on his Mount Everest expedition, said.
When asked what does he do in the air while jumping, Karwal replied that he sings, he shouts loudly in the air while he’s on the way to ground.
