Presented are the photographs of two new flyover bridges that the city of Ahmedabad has got.
The first one on which vehicular traffic is seen is Vatava railway over bridge which has not been opened formally, but local people have started using it.
A 742 meter long Vatava railway over bridge has become blessing for people who pass through Narol and Ramol areas. This over bridge has been constructed at a cost of Rs 35.19 crore.
The other one in the photograph is Thakkarbapanagar bridge, which is almost ready and minor works are likely to be completed by end of this week. Regular traffic has not been started on this bridge so far, but it is expected that it will start within this month. This new over bridge will give relief for people of Bapunagar and Nikol areas. The project cost of this 719.20 meter long bridge is Rs 29.70 crore.
