Shri Amitabh Bachchan’s convoy amid sea of people in wall city Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad, 29 January 2012

Bollywood star and Gujarat Tourism brand ambassador Shri Amitabh Bachchan in Ahmedabad today thanked the people of Gujarat for their love and affection.

Tweeting late in the evening, Shri Bachchan said, “People of Gujarat! A personal thank yo for your love and affection … unpolluted, unreserved and filled with only love !!”

Shri Bachchan tweeted, “Flew kites after almost 60 years! Shooting Uttarayan festival for tourism .. such fun and nostalgia of school days !!”

He tweeted, “As you live life, you discover so many revealing acts that one would never ever believe .. but they are facts and they are sad!”

Shri Bachchan was today morning in the wall city area of Khadia for shooting of Uttarayan ad of Gujarat Tourism. In the afternoon he inaugurated a medical facility in the city. He said in his speech that he preferred having medical treatment in India only so far having full faith in Indian doctors and their capabilities.

Shri Bachchan hosted Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi in the evening. He will be heading back to north Gujarat for Gujarat Tourism ad shoot at Ambaji, Siddhpur and Vadnagar. He will come back to Ahmedabad on 1st of February and will return to Mumbai.
