‘Grand Cinemas’ multiplex opens in Ahmedabad’s Balaji Agora mall, with ticket price as low as Rs 25

Here is a multiplex in Ahmedabad which offers tickets for as low as Rs 25.

Inspire Multiplex Pvt. Ltd. (IMPL), a low cost multiplex player launched four screens fully carpeted multiplex ‘Grand Cinemas’ in Ahmedabad’s Agora Mall which has total capacity of 802 seats.

According to Amitabh Vardhan, Director and Joint CEO Grand cinemas, the multiplex will have innovative features like ‘Grand class service’ which will have all recliner seats and will be selling tickets as low as Rs 25. The company is the only cinema group in India to serve chocolate and strawberry popcorn which are imported from US.

“The new multiplex has all digital screens with latest 3D technology and would have five types of seating arrangement which includes Normal, Europe, Elite, Grand Class and Love seats. We have tied up with some of the world’s best technologies that include XT Sound, MY MAX and DCI compliant 2KD cinemas to give you a super cinema experience,” Vardhan added.

Moreover, as part of its GB24 rule in their theatres, the company has a mandatory and extensive training programme for all their employees to provide outstanding customer service to their customers.

The opening of the multiplex in Ahmedabad makes Grand Cinema’s property count in India to two and by the end of 2012, they have plans to open around 11 more. As of now, the company plans to launch its next in India at Gurgaon.
