Photos: Modi unveils tall statue of Swami Vivekananda

A day before onset of Gujarat Assembly Budget session, Chief Minister Narendra Modi today unveiled a tall statue of Swami Vivekananda at the podium of Gujarat Assembly. Shri Modi also inaugurated an exhibition showcasing the life and message of Swami Vivekananda and an exhibition showcasing the awards won by Gujarat during last decade.
Chief Minister also paid homage to the oil-painting of late Indulal Yagnik, originator of Mahagujarat movement, today on his 121st birth anniversary. Chief Minister said that Induchacha made the nation aware of the fortitude of Gujarati people and that Gujarat is will always be indebted to him. Induchacha’s life will always motivate us to work for the welfare of people, he added.
Assembly speaker Ganpat Vasava demonstrated the new sound-communication system of Bos company installed in assembly house using latest technology. Chief Minister complimented him for adding new vigour to assembly house with the usage of latest technology.
