Gandhinagar, 28 February, 2012
Urban development minister of Gujarat Shri Nitin Patel today blamed Congress ruled Junagadh Municipal Corporation(JMC) for unfortunate incident of stamped in Junagadh on last Mahashivaratri.
Shri Patel said that a grant of Rs five crore was released to build a wider Panjnaka bridge two years back, however the JMC didn’t initiate the construction. The ugly incident of stamped happened on same narrow bridge for which JMC was responsible.
Leader of opposition denied the charges made by the minister and said such grant was not received.
