2008 Ahmedabad serial bomb blast accused Abrar alias Munna alias Ismail alias Abdulla alias Ibrahim alias Babukhan Maniar (32) of Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, who was arrested by Maharashtra police’s anti terrorist squad with illegal arms, was detained by Ahmedabad police and brought to Ahmedabad from Aurangabad jail yesterday through transfer order from the court.
According to police, Abarar is active member of Indian Muzahiddin wich is a new version of banned organization Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI). He was involved in 26th July 2008 Ahmedabad serial blast in which total 56 people died and 240 faced injuries. In this case till now total 69 accused are arrested while 29 are still at large. Abarar was one of them.
