Wedding of frogs to invoke rain God (Video)

People of Machhi community in Rajpipla performed the traditional ritual of wedding of frogs to please the rain God. A complete wedding ceremony was performed by a local priest. The two frogs were later released into the river. Machhi community believes that wedding of male and female frogs bring sufficient rain.

@Editor – Sir .. have you contacted that Person who predicts rain based on Nakshtra and something as you guys reported for last 2-3 years??
This is a torture on poor frogs. They look so scared. I think they were tied with a nylon thread… anyway next year (if they decide to torture other frogs) they should marry the frog by putting them in a transparent box …that way they will be less tortured….lol…..i am serious
@ Abhinav, I agree with you 100 %…. WHY we do not understand that rain has direct connection with trees….. THIS kind of action is not good for the animals…. YOU BE NICE ANIMALS AND JUST HOPE-PRAY…. You ask any pollution engineer and he will say we must reduce pollution to have more rain….. We will not change and complain …. JAY HIND..
