VIP pass darshan scheme ends at Ambaji mandir
Ambaji, 9 July 2012
Ambaji mandir administration has stopped the VIP pass scheme under which those donating Rs 5000 or more were allowed to enter Garbhagruh of mandir. The decision has been taken on direction of Collector.Chairman and district police chief. Now onwards only Brahmins will be allowed to enter garbhgruha for Pavdi puja. The VIP pass scheme was misused by those in contact with security persons, employees, local influential people and others. Due to rush inside the garbha gruha, common people standing outside the garbhagruha could not have proper darshan.

What about similar change at Dwarka ? Your family is allowed to go upstairs and see whole temple only if you pay 51,000Rs. Whatever Bachchan is advertising on TV about Dwarka, you will never get to see or enter ento.
When I went last time, realised how much business is done in that temple. It is not a spiritual place but a business house.
I am sure lord Krishna has deserted that place before a long time. I personally would never go there again. May those pundits pay karma for depriving people of seeing that holy place!
Bhagwan na darshan mate pan VIP pass?? what the ….?? Only God can help us.
Everybody is common person in front of GOD..Stop the pass system… Whereever it is done, it is useless… I don’t think for visiting JERUSALEM & MECCA for HAJ, passes are issued for VIPs…
very good step taken by government,it should be apply every temple in gujarat, all hindu community allow in hindu mandir equally.stop prashad, chadhava from out side.only darshan thats it.
This shows that how low we can go…. That we have passes for DARSHAN…..WELL finally it ended…. TO ME , EACH soul is sacred and no one is above or bellow anyone…. NOW I hope and pray that we have cleanliness in temples and clean toilets available….JAY HIND…
this is a welcome change. it feels great that management of the mandirs in gujarat are keeping up with the needs of our time, consistent with the fantastic way in which gujarat is progressing on all fronts. a lot of public places could use some more careful attention as our wonderful mandirs do. i am extremely proud of the people of gujarat for showing concern and courtesey for their fellowmen, specially the women. such people can not but progress fully. my best wishes to the people of gujarat.
