10 hours power supply for Gujarat farmers to support sowing and cultivation

Farmers in Gujarat will get 10 hours power for irrigation, instead of existing 8 hours with immediate effect, minister Saurabh Patel announced today here.
He said the decision has been taken to support sowing and cultivation of crops considering the situation of lesser than normal monsoon rain so far. Power supply for two extra hours will continue till the monsoon improves, he added.
