Gandhinagar, 19 August 2012
Leader of opposition in Rajya Sabha and BJP leader Shri Arun Jaitley while speaking to media persons at Ahmedabad airport said that BJP will now start full preparations for the Gujarat assembly elections.
When asked about Samajwadi Party leader Mulayamsingh Yadav’s statement that third front will come to power after next Lok Sabha polls, Shri Jaitley said, “I believe that Samajwadi Party has lost trust. Even in Uttar Pradesh too SP is weakening after elected to power. This is because their leadership is under pressure of CBI cases, and(therefore) they finally go along with the Congress. Their statements are not trustworthy. They changed their stand during nuclear deal and also during president election.”
It should be mentioned that Shri Jaitley was in Ahmedabad to attend a meeting on BJP’s campaign for Gujarat assembly elections scheduled to be held by the end of this year.
