Some political shots from Narendra Modi at Bechraji today in his speech:

-Their(Congress’s) advertisements appear on TV 90 times a day. And they ask to change the direction. So do we want to go in the direction they have selected for nation? We are in power, but we have no strength to run such ad campaign. My party workers say Modiji you will not be able to flash 90 ads a day because you don’t do 2G, Coal gate etc, they – the Congress people can do that using their corruption money. We have given a very short advertisement. And it has created so much impact that they have challenged it in the court. Now why are they wasting court time? They should come and talk to us. Let them restore 32% kerosene quota to Gujarat, and we will remove the ad. Let them supply gas to Gujarat at the same price as Delhi and Mumbai, and we will remove the ad.

-I read today in newspapers that our Congress friends have openly announced that Modi’s events are to be opposed at every place. I too want to pray them on public platform that this is democracy. It’s a time of election. Let people listen to every voice, let people meet their leaders. It’s democracy. Do they want Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh too face such oppose when they come to Gujarat for campaign? Is this their direction? I pray them that let they talk to people, and let us talk to people. My govt will provide help they need. Gujarat has history of peaceful election season. I pray my Congress friends that as a responsible party, they should not create heat. let them not spoil the peaceful atmosphere of elections.

-Congress will not be able to fight Gujarat elections. Congress and CBI are going to fight the Gujarat elections together.

-Today Gujarat is Gutkha free, it has to be made Congress-free too.
